Hi, I’m a Thai writer of science fiction and fantasy. I’m a finalist for the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer, also known as Not a Hugo. My debut novella Scale-Bright was shortlisted for the British Science Fiction Association award (though it is contemporary fantasy rather than science fiction).

If you’re here, you’ll probably want my books: they can be bought on Amazon and you can look at a quick overview of them. Most likely you’ll want in particular to know if there’s more to the universe of And Shall Machines Surrender, my BDSM-inflected cyberpunk lesbian book, so: here! Includes a list of spin-off short stories. The universe itself is called the Machine Mandate (yes, there’ll be more books).

My short fiction has appeared in Clarkesworld, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, The Dark, among others.

I’m on twitter, @benjanun_s. Do you like pictures? I’m on Instagram too at benjanuns. Medium? Yup, got you @soverybee.

  1. Just finished reading “Annex” in Clarkesworld. That was a seriously impressive piece of SciFi. Really enjoyed it as well, beautiful descriptions and so rich in detail.
